Current earthmoving and fine grading processes are labor intensive and dependent on manpower and instruments. Maintaining consistent grade between stakes is challenging, even for experienced operators. AccuGrade reduces labor requirements and helps operators work to the design plan by accurately cutting, filling, and reducing material cost.

Caterpillar's AccuGrade is the first in the industry to provide a fully integrated, sensor-independent system that is easily scalable from laser to GPS. AccuGrade simplifies grading, improves accuracy, increases productivity, and minimizes material overage. This integrated system is easy to use. AccuGrade automatically controls blade lift and tilt to allow the machine operator to grade faster, more safely and more accurately. Operators are able to increase finish grade productivity by more than 50%. AccuGrade also dramatically reduces grade staking and labor costs.
